Mothers' Union Service, Chaplaincy of Christ the Good Shepherd Poitou-Charentes. August 2nd 2026

The Mothers' Union is 150 Years old. Yesterday we celebrated this with a Special Service led by the MU President Wanda McKerchar and Secretary Karen Burke, music played by Phil Burke and a beautiful service put together by our Chaplain Heather.The MU Banner was re-dedicated:We rededicate this banner to the glory of Godin the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.May it be a symbol of our commitment to provide Christian care for families and communities.Father, we also rededicate ourselves, as individuals, and as a branch, to serve you in following Jesus.Help us in our commitment to nurture our faithand to share your love with those we serve.We ask this in the name of the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.
